Jahnplatz Bielefeld wins Deutscher Lichtdesign-Preis 2024

On June 6, the eagerly awaited gala for the DEUTSCHER LICHTDESIGN-PREIS took place at the Dornier Museum in Friedrichshafen. The lighting designers from Envue Homburg Licht were nominated with our joint project “Jahnplatz Bielefeld”—and were able to take home the prize!

We are delighted that the project at Jahnplatz in Bielefeld, for which we developed 25 individual and dynamic “night suns” together with Envue Homburg Licht, has won the award in the “Traffic Structures” category.

The DEUTSCHE LICHTDESIGN-PREIS, which was awarded for the first time in 2011, has established itself as an indicator for outstanding lighting solutions in German-speaking countries. With the help of a high-caliber, independent jury, the professional lighting of projects—as an essential aspect for the quality of the built environment—is to be given public recognition.
