ewo R–System Stadium

Product Family

R–System Stadium is the LED floodlight family for professional arenas – for stadium lighting where match operation, broadcast, and show sequences are planned digitally.

R-System Stadium

In stadium projects, the key is to bring product selection, lighting design, and verification together early in an efficient process.

Overview of sizes

Automated planning iteration

LightFinder, ewo’s automated planning tool, uses R–System Stadium as a modular luminaire platform. It iterates size, optic, luminous flux, position, and aiming – delivering robust variants faster.

Economically optimized solution

LightFinder optimizes the lighting with R–System Stadium by investment cost, lifecycle cost, or number of luminaires. This makes it clear early on which solution best aligns technical requirements with economic priorities.

In line with the architecture

With two sizes, a wide range of light distributions, and individually aimable light modules, R–System Stadium provides the modularity needed for different stadiums, mounting positions, and lighting requirements.

Stadium lighting as a digital process

From feasibility assessment to acceptance report.

R–System Stadium is the ewo floodlight for stadiums. LightFinder and LightLogger extend lighting design with R–System Stadium into a digital planning and verification process: LightFinder supports variant development, optimization and execution planning as a planning tool; LightLogger documents the completed installation after commissioning.

1. Preliminary planning and variant study

During feasibility assessment and quotation phase, LightFinder makes project scenarios comparable at an early stage: number of luminaires, connected load, product costs, luminous flux, optic selection and lighting compliance. Based on your specifications, planners reach a reliable basis for decision-making faster and reduce manual iteration effort.

2. Design and execution planning

Based on the selected variant, LightFinder generates concrete project documents: luminaire list, installation plan, and aiming plan. The position and aiming of the luminaires, as well as the aiming of each individual light module, are handed over to electrical planning, installation, and project partners in a structured way.

3. Installation, measurement, and acceptance

LightLogger supports verification of the executed installation. ewo’s mobile measurement system guides the operator through the measuring points, records and georeferences the values, automatically evaluates the measurement series, and generates a report for documentation and acceptance.

LightFinder iterates for you

LightFinder optimizes stadium projects by investment cost, lifecycle cost, or number of luminaires. The tool varies size, optic, luminous flux, position, and aiming – and outputs a luminaire list, installation plan, and aiming plan.

Body of lightProven R–System quality

More than 700 realized R–System projects – including major international airport hubs – inform the continuous development of the product family. This experience is built into R–System Stadium: robust construction (IK08, IP66), serviceable modules, and durable material choices, such as an aluminum alloy with a copper content below 0.1%.
