Optimized lighting for greater comfort
The peaceful, inviting Ascot Park in Brisbane is used for a variety of purposes, from walks and picnics to small concerts. The city of Brisbane therefore set itself the goal of transforming the area, formerly used as an alternative parking lot, into a green space with minimal light pollution for the benefit of the population. Of course, technically advanced and aesthetically appealing luminaires were also a must.
The optimized light management of the F–System XS luminaire designed by Jörg Boner for ewo completely convinced the city administration: to protect the night sky, the sidewalks are illuminated in such a way that as little light as possible is wasted. At the same time, the effective lighting control offers park visitors maximum comfort and safety.
