Lighting for the deep-water terminal – Cuxport, Cuxhaven
Founded in 1997, the multifunctional deep-water terminal Cuxport in Cuxhaven is ideally equipped to meet all demands. High-performance equipment, comprehensive freight expertise and an excellent location, ensure that Cuxport GmbH offers a fast and uncomplicated logistics facility round the clock, seven days a week for any type of cargo, from automobiles to wind turbines.
Back in 2018, ewo and its partner froeschke – licht had the privilege of equipping the 348,000 m² port terminal with a new LED floodlight system that evenly illuminated every corner of the complex, ensuring a safe working environment. At the time, R–System gen1 R1, R2 and R4 floodlights were used. The client expressed its happiness by entrusting ewo with a follow-up order in 2023.
R–System gen3 R4 floodlights were installed in combination with DALI dimming drivers as part of the 2023 installation. The distinctive feature here, was implementation of illuminance levels and uniformity of the LED lighting on the existing poles, according to DIN/ASR standards.
