MELBOURNE AIRPORT
´Within the framework of the ambitious expansion project of the Melbourne Airport, the airplane parking area enlarged by up to 30,000 sq. m (7.4 acres), but the first LED lighting project for an Australian airport was also implemented. The six high-mast systems were equipped with LEDs. In so doing, it is now possible to lastingly save energy and reduce maintenance costs. LEDs will now also be used for all additional lighting needs in the airport area. With its top-quality LED technology, ewo has made an important contribution here, and along with its partner Avionics, it has supplied fifty F32 floodlights.
